Seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Director to to curate and manage a profitable, award-winning wine program that complements our seasonal menu. Our restaurant is known for its ingredient-driven, modern approach and exceptional hospitality, with a focus on quality, creativity, and guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurate, maintain, and evolve a wine list that complements our seasonal menus
Manage all aspects of the wine program, including inventory, purchasing, cost controls, and staff training
Lead tableside wine service, pairing recommendations, and guest engagement
Build relationships with distributors and winemakers, with a focus on unique, sustainable, and terroir-driven selections
Collaborate closely with the Chef and GM to align beverage offerings with food philosophy
Educate front-of-house staff with regular tastings and training sessions
Ensure compliance with all licensing and health department regulations
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership, sommelier or wine director role, preferably in a fine-dining or chef-driven concept
Deep knowledge of both classic and emerging wine regions, with an appreciation for American producers and sustainable practices
Exceptional service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
Strong organizational skills, cost management, and vendor relations
Wine certifications (CMS, WSET, etc.) a plus
