Our breast imaging experts specialize in both screening and diagnostic imaging services for our patients, including mammography, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound and breast MRI. Our team also performs breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis.

Our breast imaging researchers evaluate new technologies to better diagnose and treat breast tissue abnormalities. Some examples of our current research projects include evaluation of pre-operative localization techniques in the breast and axilla and evaluation of artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage, characterization and diagnosis.

Johns Hopkins Imaging in Columbia is currently looking for Senior Mammography Technologist to join our elite Radiology team. As a Sr. Mammo Tech you will:

• Conduct difficult and specialized radiographic exams
• Adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment
• Perform quality control on imaging equipment
• Assist in interventional procedures
• Act as a resource to staff and students

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program
• ARRT Mammography certified with current registration
• Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians
• CPR certification
• Two (2) years’ experience performing mammography Radiology procedures

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

8:30am – 5:00pm

Monday - Friday

Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
