  • We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR (LICENSED IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR) position.
  • Location : TAMU - 600 Agronomy, College Station, TX 77843. (Openings at other locations within school district available)  Note: online applications accepted only .
  • Schedule : Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
  • Requirements : 1 year of prior leadership experience and 3 years of commercial irrigation experience; BPAT experience is preferred.
  • Additional Job Duties:

    • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, components, water conservation practices, and backflow procedures
    • Solid understanding of landscape issues, relevant laws/regulations, and safe work practices
    • Demonstrated supervisory, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication and customer service abilities, with a willingness to learn new techniques

  • Pay Range: $22.00 per hour to $27.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
  • Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
  • Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
