The Opportunity :

Saint Lukes Hospital of Kansas City Medical Education Internal Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced RN to join our team.

The Schedule:

• This is a part time position.
• This position will work Monday Tuesday Thursday. The hours are 0800-1630 with an assigned late night weekly.
• No Weekends No Call

The Work:

• This position is for an Internal Medicine teaching clinic.
• RN must have the ability to work with multiple providers and must have excellent multi-tasking skills.
• The RN is accountable for utilizing the nursing process throughout the provision of patient/family care.

• Is responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff coordinating the care of patients and consulting other disciplines of the health care team as indicated.
• The RN functions collaboratively with the medical staff and other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care.
• The RN adheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes.
• Responsible for facilitating patient care anticipating patient care needs individualizing patient care and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate.
• The RN will possess and utilize effective technical skills for the provision of safe and appropriate care (i.e. pharmacological knowledge assessment skills etc.)
• 2 years nursing experience inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree - Nursing
