Product Owner II

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Product Owner to partner with global, cross-functional teams to support and enhance existing digital platforms while helping design and deliver the next generation of innovative products.

In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing product value by owning and prioritizing the product backlog, aligning roadmap initiatives with business goals, and ensuring successful delivery within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product vision and roadmap development.
  • Translate business strategy into prioritized features, epics, and user stories.
  • Support business case development and product planning.
  • Own and maintain a well-refined, prioritized product backlog.
  • Write clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure backlog readiness ahead of sprint planning.
  • Make informed scope and priority decisions to maximize delivered value.
  • Review and accept completed work based on defined criteria.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate product progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Align cross-functional teams on scope, tradeoffs, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Proactively escalate risks and blockers as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of backlog management, user story writing, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
