  • Perform detailed claims analysis using internal and external analytics and reporting tools
  • Analyze large and complex claims data to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and ad-hoc claims and utilization reports, including written observations and insights
  • Translate claims data into actionable recommendations that support renewals, plan design reviews, and long-term cost management
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of claims and enrollment data through validation and ongoing maintenance
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance client-facing dashboards and benchmarking reports using approved analytics platforms
  • Utilize comparative and benchmarking tools to provide performance context for clients and internal teams
  • Support renewal development through analysis of claims experience, underwriting results, and funding outcomes
  • Assist with RFP development and coordinate with carriers on submissions and quotation status
  • Prepare financial summaries and analytical insights to support carrier negotiations and plan recommendations

  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, reporting enhancements, and increased efficiency
  • Participate in department projects and initiatives as assigned

  • Demonstrated experience using claims analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a client-facing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with carrier underwriting tools within employee benefits
  • Familiarity with agency management systems
