Job Description

We are seeking an experienced industrial painter with expertise in skid spraying. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently prepping parts, skids, and engines for the paint booth, mixing paint according to job specifications, and applying it with precision. Duties include using hand tools on various surfaces, performing taping and masking, applying tri-coat paint systems, measuring and coating millage thickness, and documenting orders, specifications, inventory, and processes.

• Prepare parts, skids, and engines for painting.
• Mix paint according to job order specifications.
• Apply paint using spray guns in a paint booth.
• Perform taping and masking independently.
• Apply tri-coat paint systems.
• Measure and coat millage thickness.
• Record and document orders, specifications, inventory, and processes.

• 5+ years of experience in industrial skid spraying/painting.
• Proficiency in spraying industrial epoxy, polyurethane, and enamel.
• Ability to perform all prep work independently.
• Experience in mixing paint.

• Familiarity with using a spray gun and paint booth.
• Experience in industrial painting and paint preparation.
• Knowledge of blasting techniques.

The work environment is a non-climate controlled shop with large bay doors for airflow. Expect cold conditions in winter and extremely hot conditions in summer. Fans are used to help circulate air when necessary. The shop is well-kept, clutter-free, and clean.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Tomball,TX.
