Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead our ICU/CSU units. This role provides clinical, operational, and people leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee ICU/CSU clinical operations, staff performance, and patient care delivery
Promote a culture of safety, service excellence, and collaboration aligned with hospital Mission, Vision, and Values
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure quality care and budget adherence
Drive patient flow, quality outcomes, and core measure compliance
Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing nursing teams
Coach, mentor, and hold staff accountable through performance management and engagement initiatives
Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and evidence-based practice standards
Address employee and patient concerns promptly and professionally
Participate in hospital leadership meetings and committees as required
Qualifications
BSN required; MSN preferred
Current RN license in the State of Texas
3 5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in acute care
BLS and ACLS required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with service excellence culture, staffing optimization, and budget management
Knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission)
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
ARDCS or CCI certification preferred
Bilingual skills preferred
